  • Central Management: Processes are created, managed, and go through an approval process centrally to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Excerpts: After approval, the processes are embedded as excerpts into the relevant areas and departments.

  • Timeliness: Any changes to the central process document are automatically updated on all pages using the excerpt. This ensures that all departments always use the most current and audit-ready content.

User How-To-Article

    • Select "Multiexcerpt" from the macro list.

    • Name the excerpt (e.g., "Process A").

    • Categorize your excerpts for better usability and handling

  3. Set Up an Approval Process:

    • Add a workflow plugin or use Confluence's built-in approval capabilities to set up an approval process for the QM Handbook.

  4. Embed Excerpts in Relevant Areas:

    • Navigate to the target page where the excerpt should be displayed.

    • Click on the "+" icon, select "Multiexcerpt Include", and choose the relevant excerpt (e.g., "Process A").
